Background of Firm and Areas of Practice
The firm of Henson & Marshall PLLC has been at its current location of 101 W. 9th Street, Shawnee, OK, since 1986. Our attorneys are Karen Henson and Jim Marshall. The firm currently primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, probates and guardianships, trusts, real estate, business law and family law.
The predecessor to the current firm was begun in 1948 when Almon Henson, as a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Law, located in Shawnee, OK. Almon Henson served as County Attorney for Pottawatomie County from 1950 to 1952, and then chose to return to private practice. Ultimately, Karen joined her dad, and then her husband, Jim Marshall, joined the firm after leaving active duty as an Air Force JAG.
